Hello, I am Naveed Younis. I am proud to be the Marketing Director and Lead Coach at Power For Women. I believe we have established something truly powerful, unique, and impactful, and I warmly invite you to be a part of it.
I have had the privilege of serving as a close protection bodyguard for high-profile individuals such as British Home Secretary Jack Straw, broadcaster Fiona Bruce, musician Snoop Dogg, magician Dynamo, and Heavyweight Boxing Champion Anthony Joshua. Additionally, I have managed security teams for BBC Question Time, singer Example, and undertaken security responsibilities for the London Olympic Committee.
My expertise in self-defence is rooted in the tutelage of some of the great masters, who I am fortunate to consider my friends: Taekwondo supremo Grand Master Scott Coullie, Sheffield boxing legend Brendan Ingle, and world self-defence luminary Dave Turton. It has been a real honour to learn from such martial arts greats. They have played a pivotal role in shaping my skills, and my mission at Power For Women is to ensure these invaluable skills are passed on to you.
In terms of academic qualifications, I hold a Certificate of Higher Education in Sport Studies and Psychology. My professional career is also marked by my role as a boxing coach at the prestigious University of York, the Brendan Ingle Academy, and I also founded the exercise and boxing club at St. Johnā€™s University in York.
